Business Analyst

Our client in Cape Town is searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Business Analyst. This position requires working closely with the development and marketing teams to bring business context to the development process, as well as engineering, design and systems thinking insights to the broader business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize business requirements for new product features and enhancements.


• Work closely with developers to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately.


• Work closely with business, sales, and marketing to ensure opportunities are realized, and customer requirements are sane, in line with our product vision, and implementable.


• Analyze business data and provide insights and recommendations to improve our product, marketing, and sales strategies.


• Help define product positioning, target market, and customer personas.


• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and user stories.


• Facilitate communication and collaboration between business, engineering, design, product, and marketing teams.


• Participate in product demos, user acceptance testing, and other product-related activities as needed.


• Engage with project managers and help prioritize effort and opportunity.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst


• Previous experience working in a cross-functional development environment


• Bachelor's in Business Administration, Computer Science or related fields is beneficial


• Previous experience working with mobile applications or other software products is advantageous
