Infrastructure Engineer

We're looking for a talented and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing team! You'll play a pivotal role in the maintenance, growth and support of the cloud infrastructure that delivers services to all customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Maintenance, which includes system performance monitoring, system backups, and proactive PROBLEM management.


• Infrastructure Projects: planning, testing, and execution of new builds/upgrades/updates/moves and changes.


• Infrastructure Support: troubleshooting and incident resolution for tickets escalated by 1st Line Engineers.


• Infrastructure Change Control, including planning, submission, and execution of all changes agreed to as per published Change Control Processes


• Infrastructure Administration including creation and maintenance of documentation as and when required including but not limited to Architecture diagrams, maintenance schedules, support documentation and version control registers.


• IT Management: asset registration, equipment version control, equipment configuration to agreed standards, and general IT support for users.


• PROBLEM Management: proactively identify solutions to recurring or known issues to minimize the impact on services.

Requirements:

• 3 years of working experience as an Infrastructure Engineer


• National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology


• Microsoft Server Certification


• Linux Certification


• Dell SAN/Server Administration


• VOIP / SIP


• Helpdesk and Support Experience


• Disaster Recovery/Risk Management


• Firewall / Security Experience
