Power Platform Application Developer

Calling all Power Platform Application Developers!

Our NPO client is looking for a Developer to join them in Cape Town. This individual will report directly to the Information Systems Manager and will be responsible for design, development, integration, configuration, and implementation and support of information systems used within the organisation, both transversal as well as programmatic.

Responsibilities:

• Design and craft bespoke Power Apps solutions tailored to fulfill business objectives


• Automate workflows utilizing Power Automate to enhance operational efficiency


• Collaborate with the BI team to integrate reporting requirements seamlessly into final solutions


• Assist the Information Systems Manager in evaluating scope, requirements, and detailed designs to align with unit needs


• Conduct training sessions for end-users and offer ongoing support for Power Platform applications


• Manage system support requests and follow up on updates


• Ensure project deadlines are met and communicate any delays promptly, along with the rationale


• Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues to stakeholders for resolution


• Collaborate with the IS team and business units to develop project frameworks and specifications accurately and punctually


• Facilitate timely and proficient recruitment and training of team members


• Participate in the performance review process, offering constructive feedback


• Proactively manage team members to maintain quality standards

Requirements:

• 3-4 year Tertiary qualification


• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience providing support for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft


• Microsoft Certification PL-900 Power Platform highly beneficial to have


• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Office 365
