Our exceptional client in the banking industry is searching for a Delivery Lead – Salesforce to join them in Gauteng.
As a Delivery Lead you will provide direction to IT teams responsible for the full product lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of all product features. You'll serve as the catalyst for change behind Salesforce and across business banking, driving innovation and scaling solutions in a manner unmatched in South Africa, placing you at the heart of our next leap in client service excellence in the financial sector.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Create new features and enhancements for existing Salesforce apps.
- Perform Code reviews with developers within your team.
- Support the Solution analysis to define optimal solutions.
- Mapping business requirements to Salesforce capabilities and deciding when custom solutions (config or development) are necessary.
- Utilize domain-driven design, platform engineering, event-driven architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Create data models that align with business requirements and best practices.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across Salesforce and integrated systems.
- Establish data governance policies and processes.
- Comply with all data governance standards and controls
- Develop custom APIs (REST, SOAP, or GraphQL) for data exchange.
- Optimize API performance and security.
- Monitor API usage and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for integrations.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, POPIA).
- Plan and execute data migrations between systems.
- Manage version control and deployment of integration components.
- People Management
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- Provide support to the Software Development Manager in the management of 3rd party service providers, including engagement, relationship, delivery, service improvements and efficiencies.
- Communicating the timelines to the team and 3rd Parties.
- Monitoring progress against agreed-upon timelines
- Responsible for ensuring system availability according to pre-defined SLAs with the various business units.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years working as a Salesforce Technical Expert with relevant Salesforce Certifications.
- Experience with DevSecOps.
- Any of the following Certifications will be beneficial: AWS Architecture, Salesforce FSC Specialist Certification or nCINO Certifications
