Calling all Project coordinators ready for their next challenge!
Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator to join them for a 12 month contract in Pretoria. This individual will be reporting to the Project Manager, and will need to support the delivery of IT projects by managing and addressing all administrative aspects within the project.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to project managers to collect, develop, and analyse data useful in setting team objectives/targets.
- Assist with creation of project plans to ensure they have clear timelines, GANTT Charts, objectives and deliverables.
- Consult with key role players in different business units or centres or stakeholders for inputs on key project documentation
- Ensure that key project document are complete and in accordance with specified PMO templates.
- Compile and manage updates to weekly status reports, risk log, Issue log and decision log.
- Schedules all project related meetings, reminders and follow up on any outstanding activities.
- Document project meeting minutes and track progress on action items.
- Track project progress against set deliverables and make recommendations on corrective action that can be applied.
- Track, monitor and manage identified project risks and make recommendations on corrective action that can be applied.
- Coordinate with service provider(s) for project tracking and monitoring against agreed deliverable.
- Ensure the completeness of all invoicing and payments to service providers.
- Track and update the budget movement in line with project expenditure.
- Applies standard techniques to support the specification of measures and the collection and maintenance of data for measurement.
- Generates, produces and distributes reports.
- Utilise measurement tools for routine analysis of data.
- Maintain effective relations with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate and/or take lead in the business unit transformation/culture plans.
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of NQF 6 in IT or Project Management non-negotiable
- At least 3 years of experience administering projects in an IT environment.
