Swan IT is searching for a Business Systems Analyst to join a client in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. As the Business Systems Analyst, you will be working as part of an IT delivery team responsible for the development, configuration and support of various IT business systems.
Please note that a full 4-year University degree is non-negotiable for this position, and beneficial to have specialised in Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop business requirement specifications
- Develop business processes and contribute to system design
- Develop functional and technical specifications
- Develop system integration specifications at the data level
- Analyse and test systems as part of investigations and system changes/upgrades.
- Monitor and improve daily system controls
- Monitor and ensure business and market data integrity
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Work with the Vendor and IT implementation teams to implement change
Requirements:
- 4-year University degree non-negotiable (Finance degree highly advantageous)
- 2 or more years’ relevant experience
- Exposure to programming or scripting
- Knowledge of market instruments and processes
