Swan IT is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our prestigious client in Cape Town.
This candidate will manage infrastructure, including setup, monitoring, resource allocation, and deployment architecture using a wide range of AWS cloud technologies.
Further responsibilities include:
- Project Planning:
- Fostering cross-functional collaboration between the deployment, operations as well as QA teams.
- Development:
- Utilise automated build and test pipelines to install, configure, and validate software solutions.
- Deployment:
- Design CI/CD pipelines that will streamline software delivery.
- Use container orchestration platforms to manage application deployments
- Develop SOPs for routine and emergency maintenance tasks.
- Performance Management:
- Use performance metrics to identify any bottlenecks and opportunities for system improvement.
- Risk management & compliance
- Ensure that DevOps processes are in compliance with ISO 27001 requirements
It is essential that you have a minimum of 4 years DevOps Engineer working experience as well as a relevant degree/diploma in the tech field. Furthermore, an AWS DevOps Professional Certification will be beneficial to have.
Candidates will be working with agile software development in Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, Typescript.
