Swan IT is on the hunt for a Project Manager to join a client in the retail industry for a 6 month contract (20 hours/week).
This candidate will manage a portfolio of Organizational Design projects and lead them to successful completion within defined timeframes and approved budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Project Plans:
- Ensure that all projects are aligned with the company and people strategies.
- Draft detailed project plans which include roles, responsibilities, deadlines and targets for relevant milestones.
- Project Resources:
- Map all project stakeholders as well as delegate project tasks to all relevant project team members.
- Ensure optimal resource available and allocation at all times
- Project Tracking:
- Make sure that the project remains on time through engagements with relevant stakeholders.
- Track the impact of Change Management interviews and escalate potential non-performance to line managers.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management which highlight project status, risks and recommended remedial actions.
- Escalate all potential conflicts to relevant stakeholders.
- Project Administration
A degree is preferred for this position as well as a minimum of 5 years project management experience. Project management certifications such as PMBOK and Scaled Agile will be advantageous.
