Swan IT is on the hunt for a Systems Engineer specifically with Microsoft skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Administration of client server environment as well as maintain and support the operating systems.
- Good sound knowledge of AD and DNS.
- Understand SCCM/WSUS implementation.
- Monitoring, routine health checks and support of servers (hardware, hypervisors, and software)
- Pro-active support, maintenance and troubleshooting of client environment
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Hyper-V
- Provisioning of virtual servers within Hyper-V
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Hyper-V virtual servers.
- Setup and configuration of Azure & O365
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Azure & O365
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Azure & O365
Requirements:
- At least Matric
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT is beneficial
- ITIL Foundation v3/v4 advantageous
- Microsoft MCSE, VMWare & Veeam Certifications
- 6-9 years Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 experience
- At least 2 years Veeam 9.5 and up, as well as VMWare 5.5 and up
