Swan IT is currently looking for an Tech Officer: Systems Engineer Microsoft for a permanent position starting soon.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the area DC Manager and will be responsible for the following:
- Administration of client server environment as well as maintain and support the operating systems.
- Good sound knowledge of AD and DNS.
- Understand SCCM/WSUS implementation.
- Monitoring, routine health checks and support of servers (hardware, hypervisors, and software)
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Hyper-V
- Provisioning of virtual servers within Hyper-V
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Hyper-V virtual servers.
- Setup and configuration of Azure & O365
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Azure & O365
Any of the following certifications will be beneficial to have: Microsoft MCSE, MS Azure, Mimecast & or SCCM/SCOM.
Requirements:
- At least Matric
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT is beneficial
- ITIL Foundation v3/v4 advantageous
- Minimum of 6 years Windows Server Experience 2012/2016/2019
- At least 2 years experience with VMWare 5.5 and up, and Veeam 9.5 and up.
- At least 2 years experience with O365 and Azure
