Swan IT is searching for a Senior WMS Implementation Specialist for our logistics client based in Johannesburg.
This individual will be responsible for successful implementation and configuration of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) across the organization.
- Implementation and Configuration: Implement and configure WMS solutions based on business requirements. This includes system setup, testing, and go-live support.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for WMS including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Training: Train end-users on the use of the WMS, ensuring they understand system functionality and capabilities.
- Documentation: Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
- Project Management: For WMS change requests, manage timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful WMS changes and implemented successfully and on time.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Certificate or Diploma from a WMS system provider indicating competence installing WMS solutions
- 7-9 years of experience
- Familiarity with SAP ERP
- Previous experience in one of the following industries will be beneficial: Wholesale and Distribution, Logistics, Pharmaceuticals
