Senior Product Manager

Are you a Product Manager with previous experience working in the Financial Services industry? We have just the position for you!

Our clients’ Product team is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join them and manage all elements of the product development lifecycle. This individual will assist the business in achieving their goals through taking relevant products/functionality to market on mobile and web platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the product strategy which includes the vision for the product; the metrics of success; the roadmap showing the milestones; and go-to-market strategy


• Create and prioritise the feature backlog based on new features; product  improvements;


• bugs; design debt; and tech debt.


• Conduct research to understand the market and the competitors to inform a SWOT analysis


• Source and analyse data and trends regarding customer’s product use and behaviours as well as customer sentiment and feedback on current features


• Define a business case for partnership opportunities and new features to ensure a strong ROI (return on investment)


• Oversee product development to ensure that the product is developed according to the defined requirements and timeline


• Test the feature before go-live to ensure the product meets the requirements and quality standards


• Enable the Support team to support the new feature through the creation of training material; FAQ guides; and defining the metrics to track performance against


• Enable the Sales team to support the new feature through the provision of training material and product guides

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Strategy or Marketing


• Minimum 5 years experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner or similar


• Prior experience working in the financial services industry


• Proven experience delivering product features using Agile or SCRUM methodology


• Experience working in the payments industry and experience working with PSPs, card schemes, and banks is required


• Experience in marketing or working with data will be highly beneficial
