Swan IT is currently looking for a Senior SAP Finance Programme Manager for a contract starting soonest. The role will involve being responsible for leading strategic projects focused on driving and executing strategic initiatives, such as technology implementations, standardisation and centralisation of back office transactional processes and identify continuous improvements opportunities. As the Lead: Finance Strategic Projects, you will report directly to the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance leadership and other key stakeholders to develop and execute Strategic Projects. Align finance and Shared Services initiatives with overall corporate objectives and long-term financial goals.
- Lead and manage Strategic Projects including an ERP implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes. Develop project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and manage project risks.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within processes. Streamline workflows, implement best practices, and leverage technology to optimize finance and operations.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate investment opportunities, assess profitability, perform cost-benefit analysis, and provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Support change initiatives within the finance and operational functions and across the organization. Contribute to the development of change management strategies, communicate changes effectively, and support stakeholders in adapting to new processes or systems.
- Identify and develop working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and ensures they are kept appropriately informed of project activities and are engaged and positively participate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and other business units, to understand their requirements and align project outcomes with their needs. Build strong relationships and engage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and ensure timeous and accurate reporting on strategic finance projects and ensure all administration and project record keeping activities are completed timeously and in accordance with relevant policies & procedures.
Requirements:
- 3-year degree
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) highly advantageous
- At least 10 years of experience
- Completed several full life cycle implementations
- Proven delivery of IT Projects both on time and within budget
- Either PMP or Prince 2 certification beneficial
