Are you a Software Developer known for your expertise with SAP BW4HANA? Look no further!
Our retail client is searching for a Software Engineer (SAP BW4HANA) to join them in Cape Town. They are passionate about collaboration, creativity alongside working towards exceptional customer service.
This individual will be part of the Finance Systems Team and will be responsible for data modelling for reporting requirements as well as maintaining the existing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-going support of the existing BPC Embedded Reporting, Data Services and BW systems
- SAP BEX Query Design and Analysis for Office reporting
- Working closely with other development teams
- Develop reports, dashboards and extracts
- Implement solutions that run of SAP BW platform
- Investigations and problem solving
- Understanding the business environment and provide consulting services to users to determine optimal solutions
- Find solutions to complex integration requirements
- Design, code, test and implement changes and new solutions
- Ensuring successful upgrades
- Overtime on an ad-hoc basis as required by project deadlines
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience within a SAP BW4HANA environment
- 3year Diploma or Degree essential
- SAP Certification (BW) non-negotiable
- At least 3 years of BW4HANA development experience
- Experience in designing and building data flows including InfoObjects, InfoCubes, Aggregates, Datastore objects (DSO), MultiProviders, InfoSets, Transformations, DTPs and Data Sources creating info cubes, info objects, info sets and Open Hub connections
