Swan IT is searching for a Solution Architect to join a client in the financial industry near Constantia. You will be responsible for analysing, designing and building solutions that enable operations and business strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Define and document system architecture, aligning with enterprise architecture guidelines
- Integrate applications and data to create cohesive and consistent user experiences
- Optimise systems and infrastructure for performance, high availability, security and cost effectiveness
- Work with software and data developers as well as system vendors to implement solutions
- Ensure that systems and processes meet regulatory requirements
- Propose IT solutions to company challenges
- Asses technologies and platforms
Requirements:
- Information Systems or Relevant BSc degree
- 8 or more years’ experience
- Experience in software and data design
- Experience in system design and integration
- Broad experience in software development e.g. .Net/Java/Python
