HRIS Technical Specialist

Swan IT is currently searching for a HRIS Technical Specialist to join a client in Cape Town.

As the HRIS Technical Specialist,  you will be providing analytic and consultative support to the Company HR function. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the HR technology systems effectively support the HR processes and contribute to overall company success.

Responsibilities:

• The role involves comprehensive responsibilities in implementation, and capacity building within the people team.


• Optimising and integrating technology, collaborating for system improvements, supporting related projects and training.


• Attend to database administration tasks including managing, maintaining and optimising databases to ensure their efficiency, security and reliability.


• Data backup, performance monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing security measures to safeguard the integrity of the database systems.


• Overseeing system maintenance, ensuring data accuracy, and managing HR data to uphold integrity and security, contributing significantly to efficient Human Resources transactional processes.

Requirements:

• 3-year Bachelor's degree in Information Systems


• At least 4 years of experience as a technical specialist which includes system development and/or implementation, analysis, support and IT project management.


• Experience in web-based HRIS systems is advantageous


• Advanced proficiency in database management and security, and running SQL queries


• Advanced SQL skills


• Understanding HR Processes and experience in a web-based HRIS system will be beneficial
