Senior Manager: Programme Manager

Swan IT is searching for an IT Programme Manager to join a client for a 12month contract based near Johannesburg.  This individual will be expected to support the Business Executive to deliver business transformation and operational projects in ICT BU successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing an effective PMO operating model.


• Implementing standards of leading practices in project management including related methodologies and tools.


• Continuous engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that PMO meets business expectations.


• Ensuring that the PMO is resourced adequately.


• Alignment of the ICT project portfolio to ICT’s strategy and tactical plans.


• Ensuring successful delivery of key projects. Ensure compliance with defined project management policies and standards.


• Ensuring that PMO resources are fit for purpose.


• Provide executive reporting on the performance of project portfolios.


• ICT product services design and continuous improvement


• Operationalisation of performance measurements, including balance scorecard and service measurements.


• Provide project management services for BU’s


• Provide standard operating procedure management services.


• Manage the daily operations of the Centre.


• Coordinate training of users on Project Management.


• Coordinate Enterprise Project Management Services


• Design and maintain Enterprise Project Management Systems.


• Coordinate external and internal audit findings solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is essential


• Prince 2 or PMBOK Certification


• ITIL and COBIT Certifications are beneficial


• Minimum of 10 years of project and program management experience


• At least 5 years experience leading project management and reporting tools.
