Swan iT is working with a client in the financial services industry and searching for a Business Intelligence Analyst Developer. The successful candidate will be based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, and will be working in the IT Solutions team. The Senior BI Developer will be responsible for analysing, designing and building BI solutions that enable operations and business strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit and analyse business requirements.
- Design, build and maintain BI solutions through the full stack.
- Prepare and combine data from multiple sources to create a single source of truth.
- Relational and dimensional data modelling.
- Analyse and interpret data, build reports to provide business insights and improve business process.
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a BI Developer
- Relevant tertiary degree in Information Systems or Information Technology
- Experience in either Power BI or Qlik
- Advanced SQL skills
- Proven track record of project delivery
- MS SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI advantageous
- Snowflake, Talend, Qlik beneficial
